Any advice you can give me? I’m heading down to west side -Aguada area again in February. . I’ve tried a few times for snook on some other trips. But I can’t seem to get a bite I’ve tried top water lures and some plastics. Great video! Tarpon put up a great fight! Thx!
I've had luck fishing in the morning and at night around docks with lights. Use live sardines, 3 inch swim baits around big structures like rocks and jetty, steady retrieve. If you really want a fight with a Tarpon fishing off a fisherman dock will get you hooked into 80+ lbs Tarpon. Look for snook where the rivers meet the ocean. Use a white swim bait if the water is not clear and darker colors if it is clear(er). Make sure that swim baits can reach the lower water columns quick if the water is flowing fast.
